Overview

Our logistics team successfully coordinated a complex oversized cargo transport via air freight from Germany to Uzbekistan. This project was a collaborative effort between our M9 Logistics Frankfurt and M9 Logistics New York offices, ensuring smooth handling and timely delivery across multiple borders.

Transport route

The shipment was transported using a cargo airline with a stopover in Baku, Azerbaijan. The cargo was loaded onto the plane in Germany, where it traveled to Azerbaijan and then onto its final destination in Uzbekistan.

Process and execution

The cargo was transported under a T1 transit declaration, which allowed for the movement of goods across multiple EU countries without import duties. Our logistics team handled every aspect of this transport, ensuring compliance with regulations and smooth transitions between locations.

1. Initial Transport to Airport: The cargo was first moved to Hahn Airport in Germany. This process involved pre-arranging a crane to unload the oversized crate from the truck and place it in the airport’s warehouse, ensuring safe handling and efficient use of time.
2. T1 Declaration Closure and Customs Procedures: Upon arrival at Hahn Airport, our team closed the T1 transit declaration. This allowed for the legal exit of the cargo from the EU and prepared it for loading onto the aircraft. The necessary customs documentation was handled meticulously to avoid any delays.
3. Air Transport via Baku: Today, the cargo was successfully loaded onto a cargo aircraft departing from Germany to Azerbaijan. The shipment has already arrived in Baku and is scheduled to depart for Uzbekistan tomorrow. Our team has coordinated all necessary arrangements to ensure the cargo remains secure and ready for its next leg.
