M9 Logistics Frankfurt was opened in 2016. The office is located in Cargo City South, in close proximity to Frankfurt airport, which in turn is 12 km (7.5 mi) southwest of Frankfurt city centre.

Main Duties:

  • Handling of worldwide air freight, export and import shipments and, if required, also road, sea and rail transport business.
  • Competent advisor and contact person in day-to-day business.
  • Organization of customs clearance export/import/transit, warehousing and distribution.
  • Checking incoming transport contractors for feasibility and profitability.
  • Organization and management of pre-carriage and on-carriage transport.
  • Completion of customs formalities and accounting.
  • Purchase and optimization of freight including calculation of offers and shipment results.
  • Monitoring and sales control of activities for the Operations Export/Import/Transit area worldwide (including transports from/to/via Germany).
  • Assistance with administrative activities.
  • Assistance in carrying out inventories, support in all organizational areas of warehouse processing
  • Communication and maintenance of contacts with suppliers

Irrespective of the above job description, the employee undertakes, if necessary and on the instructions of the employer, to also carry out other work that is reasonable for him, which corresponds to his knowledge and qualifications and which is not associated with a reduction in wages.

Qualifications:

  • Successfully completed commercial / logistical vocational training – freight forwarding clerk desirable
  • Very good written and spoken German and English, at least good knowledge of German
  • Work experience in a comparable position
  • Confident use of MS Office applications

  • Experience in logistics market sales activity – at least 5 years.  
  • Solid knowledge of logistic processes and experience in international logistics.

Job Description:

We are looking for a highly motivated person to come and join our growing team as a Sales Executive (USA).
We are a small to midsized forwarder with the ambition to grow further in the massive US market.
The company needs expansion into other markets: we are looking to gain clients with interest in shipping to / from Europe, China, South America, Australia and Africa.

Main Duties:

  • Overseeing local and regional sales, including campaigns of niche industries.
  • Preparing sales budgets and projections, as well as proposing expenditures
  • Tracking and analyzing sales statistics based on key quantitative measures.
  • Setting rates and determining price schedules.
  • Serving as the face of the organization with potential clients.
  • Active search and attraction of new customers; developing and maintaining relationships with current and potential clients; renewal of cooperation with “departed” clients.
  • Market analysis and formation of a potential customer base.
  • Making data-informed decisions to drive performance and increase sales.
  • Setting sales quota and goals.
  • Identifying new, emerging markets for potential growth.

Main Duties:

  • Strategically plan and manage logistics, transportation and customer services and operations processes in the new branch of M9:
  • To ensure that our road freight customers are well transitioned and served from/in the destination or managing branch;
  • To further develop the road freight product in the marketplace through focus on Operations, Finances, Sales, People, Systems, and Culture in adherence to the company’s policy and procedures;
  • To ensure an operational and financial stability of entrusted branch M9;
  • Achieve financial results of the offices according to the business plan agreed by both parts;
  • Develop working policies in all aspects of business including operations, sales, finance, information technology, HR etc;
  • Develop network relationship in frames of the company networking and outside;
  • Save administrative costs;
  • Support relationships with Customers and Suppliers;
  • Direct, optimize and coordinate full order cycle;
  • Keep track of quality, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency;
  • Resolve any arising problems or complaints;
  • Supervise and coach workforce of the branch;
  • Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets;
  • Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements;
  • Comply with laws, regulations and ISO requirements and any other administrative Services reasonably requested by the Company and agreed to by the Service Provider and the following services (collectively, the “Services”).

Qualifications:

  • Deep knowledge of logistic products (especially in road freight);
  • A minimum 5 years’ experience in the industry (mainly in operational freight forwarding).
