Transport Features

Transporting marble and granite blocks requires meticulous planning and specialized handling:

• Container Specifications: The blocks are loaded into 20ft containers.
• Lashing and Choking: Each block is properly lashed and choked to prevent movement and damage during transit. Depending on the weight of the blocks, each 20ft container can hold either one or two blocks.

Documentation

Shipping marble and granite blocks to Egypt involves standard documentation with some additional requirements due to local regulations:

• General Documentation: Includes invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading.
• Special Requirements for Egypt: Buyers need to provide an ACID (Advance Cargo Information Declaration) number and a CargoX ID number. These are mandatory according to Egyptian customs law, ensuring that the shipment complies with all legal requirements.

Transit Period
